All the Info

In Swedish a word for a little idyl is 'smultronställa' - a literal translation being a place of wild strawberries.

A Nordic Fruit is a creative space through which I hope to offer a little insight and inspiration for my readers.

Life has led me through many twists and turns. Born in England, I loved my former life as a bookseller and have been lucky enough to live in many beautiful parts it.  It was working in a bookshop in Greenwich, London that I met and fell in love with my husband, Johan.

We moved to his native Sweden in 2017 and I am a proud 'bonusmamma' to his wonderful little girl. After moving here, I trained to became an educator.  We are also teaching ourselves how to renovate our little 1800s cottage, nestled in a valley in beautiful Värmland.

This blog serves as a place for others to explore a little slice of Scandinavia.  It is a canvas to splash a little personality, sense of humour, creativity and heart. Connecting with the world is what brought me to start A Nordic Fruit.
